What to write to us about

• Calculator problems: tell us which browser and device you used, what you entered, and what you expected. A screenshot helps.
• Content corrections: if you believe a statement on a page is wrong or out of date, point us to the page and, if you can, to a source.
• Privacy requests: if you want to ask what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, write to the email above and put "Privacy" in the subject line. See the privacy policy.
• General feedback: ideas for guides, new inputs, or clearer explanations are useful to us.

What we cannot do

We are not able to give personal investment, tax, legal or lending advice, review your specific property or deal, or tell you whether to buy. For those questions please talk to a licensed professional such as a CPA, an attorney, a lender, or a real estate professional in your area. Please do not send sensitive personal data such as bank account numbers, Social Security numbers, or passwords by email.

Corrections and bug reports

The fastest way to help us fix a problem is to include the exact numbers you entered and the result you saw. If a statement on the site cites a rule or figure that appears to have changed, tell us which page it is on and, if you can, link the official source. We would rather correct a page than leave an outdated statement up.

Response time

We read every message, but we cannot promise a particular response time. Messages about privacy requests are handled as quickly as we reasonably can.
